Inside Sales Account Manager

Accountable for generating qualified leads to ensure the achievement of increased revenue and gross margin goals, selling services from an inside sales environment for this tariff corporation. Increase market share by building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work together with operations, sales and customer service to manage account needs and grow account sales.

• Serve as the primary sales contact on day-to-day account penetration.

• Develop and implement plans to maximize and leverage phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to region or territory hours and metrics, and customizing scripts by service, market segments and prospect type.

• Follow-up with new clients to ensure customer satisfaction with the service being performed.

• Prepare and maintain current and accurate tariffs, terms and conditions, and account profiles

• Prepare customer presentation materials.

• Majority of customer contact is via telephone and/or internet – sales call is usually only made after qualification of prospect

• Some experience (1 -3 years) in U.S. Customs related field

• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
