Contract or Perm position in the Washington, DC area

Pay rate (depends on candidate’s experience)

Contract User Experience Designer, with a focus on conceptualizing and creating large-scale digital experiences and applications. This person will join our quickly expanding User Experience Practice. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who applies user-centered design methodologies to create compelling and useful digital experiences.

Do you have the following qualifications?

3-5 years of industry experience primarily as an information architect, interaction designer, experience designer, or similar role with knowledge of User Research, UI Design, Interaction Design and Usability Evaluation.

Knowledge of web-based solutions including data driven websites, portals, web services, content management systems (CMS), contact relationship management (CRM), e-commerce (EC), membership management and online community solutions Experience visually communicating information architecture and user interface mechanisms to facilitate client understanding and a portfolio that showcases this experience. Familiarity with software like Sketch and InVision a plus.

Ability to articulate and follow User Centered Design and Software Development Processes but be willing to work outside process to accomplish goals.

Must have or be able to obtain government clearance.
