Job Description


Lead the Assembly team by assuring timely start of production, timely and accurate communication across multiple functions in support of meeting customer order requirements and maintaining inventory levels.


* Participate in product building

* Daily monitoring and reporting of production goals

* Ensure that all team members are following proper work instructions and procedures

* Coach and develop staff based on cross training and departmental goals

* Print and distribute documents required to ensure accurate completion of orders (i.e., Work Orders.)

* Participate in production meetings to ensure timely and accurate communication to manufacturing departments

* Lead staff activities to include documenting and communicating objectives, conducting performance appraisals and appropriately addressing individual and group performance issues

* Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

* Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

* Must be a team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest

Must Have The Ability To

* Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

* Guide, direct, and motivate staff

Must Have

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Some form of manufacturing software MAS90, Peachtree, Macola, Netsuite etc.

* 3 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing role

* 1 year of experience in a leadership role directing employees and working to meet business objectives


* High School Diploma or GED
