Job Description

  • Financial management policies and internal controls in accordance with GAAP
  • Close the general ledger on a monthly basis, coordinating with management and staff
  • Multi-company consolidations and eliminations
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Manage bi-monthly payroll
  • Accounts receivable and Payable operations – both include a large amount of prepaids
  • Preparation of financial reports, including BS, IS, CF statements and asset valuations as required for use by management, lenders, and financial partners
  • Fixed Asset accounting
  • Cost control systems for product and cost prices to ensure correct evaluation of financial results and to contribute to the decision making process
  • Forecasting, Annual budgeting and capital expenditure budgeting
  • Direct external financial audit and AML audit and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
  • Cash management & monitoring the day-to-day working capital
  • Treasury systems including Line of Credit management
  • Significant fraud prevention management, customer credit management
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
  • Merchant card operations & reconciliations
  • Fiscal compliance: sales and use tax, quarterly returns, and property tax
