Technical Writer,

Our Technical Writers find passion in providing the best content experience for our clients. The Product Operations Team perpetually provides and receives feedback on a variety of simultaneous projects and understanding priorities and collaborating with other teams as a daily task.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing the strategy and the execution of content across digital channels

  • Work alongside a multi-disciplinary group of UX/UI designers, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Developers would collaborate with each other creating and maintaining technical documentation, user manuals, help documentation, and training articles

  • Write for a range of customers, including new and experienced operators, administrators, and developers

  • Contributing to a culture of innovation through team brainstorming, knowledge sharing, research & development initiatives

  • Translate highly technical language into a voice for business audiences in an uncomplicated way

  • Ability to work across multiple product lines with high attention to detail

  • Proactively seek new and innovative ways to produce and share content

  • Contribute to open source projects used by developers and customers

  • Gather, revise, and publish release notes

  • Design and develop clear, concise, complete, and correct technical copy for our help site, as well as examples and tutorials for in-product copy

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in writing technical documents or other suitably complex content

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You need to be able to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Adaptability with different communication styles and techniques

  • Experience with mobile and web application content development

  • Analyzing product requirements, developing user and technical documentation

  • Manage complex documentation projects and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Identifying opportunities to improve content related deliverables

  • Identifying any action opportunities to improve the overall product, including but not limited to textual elements for interfaces including instructional copy, appropriate naming conventions, and other UX-focused content elements

  • Contributing to the developer portal by coordinating and redrafting technical articles

  • Performing content audits and inventories and preparing content gap analyses

  • Create content structures, taxonomies and metadata to support grouped and tagged content

  • Contribute to search targeting and other best practices for in-app and web analytics

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Ability to create and manage your own project milestones to meet the needs of the overall product release cycle

  • Google Suite knowledge
