- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical or Engineering discipline preferred
- 3-5 years working in Quality or Engineering
- Experience working in Aerospace manufacturing preferred
- Intimate knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
- Must read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to meet schedule requirements in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong ability to review and understand customer specifications as they pertain to product processing.
Responsibilities include:
- Strong FAIR documentation knowledge, as well as inspection plan creation to meet customer requirements
- Applies quality principles in the areas of (1) design, (2) incoming material, (3) production control, (4) product evaluation, (5) program performance, (6) reliability, (7) inventory control and / or (8) research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and / or buy products
- Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models / designs, drawings and procedures
- Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place
- Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action
- Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements
- Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity
- Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
- Engages in supplier selection process
- Provide documentation to customers regarding UPPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Process Qualifications, etc...
- Administer company Metrology program
- Provide assistance to Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sub Contractors to ensure organizational compliance to customer contractual and regulatory requirements
- Support audits and visits including internal, vendor, customer, and 3rd party
