Job Description

  • Oversee all accounting responsibilities of existing in-house team and contracted service providers including their outsourced accounting team, fund administrator, and tax accountants.
  • Optimize existing processes for efficiency and durability.
  • Work with executives to achieve company objectives and support ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Manage monthly financial closing and the preparation of quarterly financial reporting package.
  • Direct the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, analyses, memos and other documentation necessary to close the books and maintain adequate records.
  • Maintain necessary records and control over fund information flow and activities, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Assist in preparation of audit and tax schedules for auditors and outside tax accountants.
  • Review and monitor investment documents and processes.
  • Analyze fund activity, valuations and performance.
  • Manage audit, tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
  • A CPA is strongly preferred.
