Provides technical packaging support for our Global Shave Prep business. The essential functions include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide project feasibilities and costing for promotional and open stock packaging configurations. Design and develop of promotional packs/co-packs. 2. Create and maintain packaging department control documents. 3. Stay current on latest developments in materials, equipment, and suppliers. 4. Work closely with Sales/Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing and RD&E globally, to deliver quality and cost effective packaging proposals. 5. Provide technical recommendations on materials procurement as well as equipment for the Packaging department. Expertise on aerosol liquid fill operations essential 6. Work with RD&E on new product packaging that will eventually launch. 7. Optimize current packaging processes and provide alternatives for lower cost of goods. 8. Identify and lead cost reducing opportunities by working closely with manufacturing and purchasing. Minimum Qualifications: BS in Engineering discipline with a preference to Packaging, Industrial, and/or Mechanical concentration. Ability to clearly communicate feasibilities and recommendations to suppliers and customers. Costing background and solid organizational skills preferred. Background in technical problem solving along with some Project leadership experience. Musthave at least 5-8 years experience in a high volume, medical and/or consumer goods environment.
