Accurately and timely prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings and tax returns. Successfully mentor staff in technical issues and career development. Develop efficient processes and maintain and document them. Build and maintain relationships with global finance team and ensure effective communication on finance and business issues. Develop tax accounting positions and communicate to VP, senior management and outside auditors.

Responsible for all aspects of global income tax provision (quarterly and annual filings)

- Oversight of all domestic compliance activities

- Significant involvement (oversight) of international and domestic tax planning

- Mentor and develop staff and succession planning

- Review staff schedule and resource planning

- Perform/review technical research and draft memos/documentation

Will lead team of 8 tax professionals in all aspects of global tax provision and compliance activities. Will communicative with finance teams (globally), IT, HR, etc… Interaction with senior management with regard to tax matters.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

10+ years’ experience in public and private accounting. BS Accounting and CPA designation required.

MST a plus. Candidate should have experience dealing with complex tax accounting issues with large multi-national corporations.

Strong analytical, research and leadership skills a must. Candidate must be hands on while being able to see the big picture. Strong knowledge of U.S. and state tax law with international tax experience a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and senior management and have excellent presentation skills.
