Responsibilities:

•Prepare Design packages including layouts, interior elevations, exterior elevations, and production drawings

•Produce 100% accurate drawings, bill of quantity, and project documents

•Create and revise technical literature (e.g. fixture books, catalogues, design guidelines, installation manuals, etc.)

•Develop custom details of glazing systems

•Develop documentation for the production of glazing systems

•Develop Shop drawings

•Check drawings and documents for accuracy

•Prepare material takeoffs using various company proprietary software

•Prepare preliminary hand-sketched schematics for conceptual review (preferred)

•Create 3D models and renderings for client presentations (preferred)

•Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design or relevant discipline preferred. Associates degree or diploma from technical school required.

•Computer Skills: AutoCad and Microsoft Office required. Microsoft Project preferred.

•Work Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience with glazing systems preferred

•Other: Must be able to multi-task, work extended time to meet deadlines, prioritize, and work with minimal direction. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail. Must be able to read construction drawings. Should be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
