Industrial Design Engineer

Salary – DOE

• Perform early concept and industrial design of new razor products.

• Demonstrate strong 2D sketching and 3D surface modeling skills.

• Participate as a member of cross-functional project teams and at times be called upon to lead teams.

• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with good project management skills.

• Demonstrate effective leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

The Product Development Group is seeking a Candidate to fill a senior level industrial design position. Under the direction of Engineering and Project Managers, the Candidate will mainly support new product programs. The Candidate will work with colleagues from Tooling, Automation, Quality, Packaging, Program Management, and Consumer Insights. The Candidate will also interact with colleagues from other international locations.

This position is schedule driven and the Candidate will be required to work concurrently with other functional departments. The Candidate should possess a high level of creativity and a demonstrated ability and desire to learn new things. The candidate should be capable of effectively managing external partnerships.

• Keep abreast of new technologies and other industry trends. Specific Skills MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Staff Industrial Designer):

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design

• Minimum 10 years related experience

• Strong 2D sketching skills, fluency in Adobe Suite

• Advanced skills using engineering computer software

• Strong portfolio with experience in the consumer products field

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good technical writing skills

• Strong 3D surfacing skills with Pro/Engineer ISDX (preferred) or equivalent software package

• Demonstrated history of robust designing, including consideration of manufacturing processes and injection molding

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree or certification • Proven problem solving skills

• Good mechanical aptitude
