HR Director - Full Time Permanent position

This is a Manufacturing/Production type of company so someone from that type of background is preferred.

Salary Range: DOE plus bonuses and benefits. (DOE)

This position is perfect for an HR Director with manufacturing/production experience who is down to earth, straight talking and passoniate about the industry/people.

Reporting strategically to the CEO, and serving as business partner and member of the Senior Leadership team, the Human Resources Director will have responsibility for all human resource activities including overall leadership of the function. The Director will be accountable for establishing policies and procedures, and developing and maintaining human resources programs and initiatives consistent with the global strategic plan of the parent organization and in support of the strategic plan for company.

· Develop a trusting consultative relationship with the President and with senior leadership, and establish credibility with all levels of management to enable successful implementation of initiatives.

· Provide broad based advice to the President and to senior leadership on the overall management of the business and on specific human resources issues.

· Gain trust and develop a credible and strong working relationship with each of the North America operations in order to be regarded as a key resource and supportive business partner. Visit each operation appropriately to provide the necessary level of HR support and guidance including the advancement of new initiatives.

· Evaluate existing talent and drive changes to insure the appropriate level of skills and experience needed to accomplish the Company’s short and long-term goals. Build and guide development for key people/positions.

· Attract, recruit and retain talent across the organization.

· Develop an on boarding process or induction process for all new employees.

· Create organizational structures, policies, programs, initiatives, personnel, and practices and create an environment across the organization that will enable the Company to achieve its objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full range of human resources functions including:

Performance Planning, Talent Management and Assessment Succession Planning, Recruitment/Staffing, Retention Organizational and Management Development, including

Training and Education Change Management Compensation and Benefits Labor Relations HRIS Legal HR Requirements

· Ensure the human resources function is proactive and responsive to business needs.

· Develop and coach leadership and management on personnel policies and programs consistent with the strategic direction and desired company culture.

· Interact effectively with employees throughout the Company, from the factory floor to the senior leadership team.

· Handle all HR compliance issues including 401K administration, DOL compliance and Benefit Committee administration. Recommend competitive compensation and benefits programs consistent with Sarbanes-Oxley and other legislation and regulations.

· Effectively drive change and manage in a changing environment to enable meeting critical performance goals including reorganization or restructuring processes.

· Manage HR costs and budgeting process.

· In a leadership role, you must communicate effectively on safety values, which are incorporated into the company’s values. Safety assessments are a priority within the company’s values and you must enforce and promote safety policies and procedures.

An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.

A minimum of fifteen years of broad senior level human resources leadership of global, progressive, best practices at industrial manufacturing or consumer goods manufacturing companies, and on the ground experience providing human resources leadership in a line organization.

Hands-on tactical strength in creating human resources processes and systems and effectively implementing HR processes. An operations orientation and program/process management skills are essential. Experience in an operating role with profit and loss accountability is a plus.
