Job Description

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour

  • Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • · Perform typical laser cutting operations on a fiber laser using existing programs
  • · Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures.
  • · Comfortable working with and cutting different materials and thicknesses
  • · Make proper set-ups for cutting operations and work with custom fixtures for special projects.
  • · Perform prescribed maintenance (focus test, tape shot, lens cleaning etc) as required.
  • · Able to read engineering prints and perform all dimensional inspections.
  • · Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
  • · May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
  • Education and Experience:
  • · 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • · 1 year of laser operator experience. TRUMPF laser cutting machines operator experience a plus.
  • · Training in general safety, metal handling equipment (Magnet lifting, suction lifting)
  • · Forklift license and experience a plus
  • Employment Type:
  • · Full-time
