| Core Responsibilities The designer reviews and analyzes project requirements specification, plan, design and installation. Position is responsible for design of tooling, gauges and fixtures to ensure stipulated specification Requirements are met and delivered within budget and on time. Maintain all design documents and fixture designs. Prepare reports, documents and detail prints layouts. Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve company's goals. Perform project work as required, and participate in research and development projects. Experience with using Tool Design software to draft and design tools and fixtures Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications and writing diagrams as needed. Experience with designing a range of tools and fixtures but not limited to tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, metal machine parts, die parts, roll form tools, punches, form tools, cams, and special tools; understands the tooling, grinding, boring, polishing tool process Software PTC/Creo, CAD/CAM/CAE software knowledge and experience We are open to experience level from 3-10 years’ experience and pay will be commensurate based on experience Other Employment Requirements · Certifications · Physical Requirements · Legal Authorization · Occasional Travel Required |
